'The Pilgrim's Return', on national tour with Gerard McChrystal and The Smith Quartet.
Gerard McChrystal and The Smith Quartet will be playing Ciarán Farrell's 'The Pilgrim's Return' for soprano sax and string quartet on a ten date national tour of Ireland this coming April. The three movement, Arts Council of Ireland funded work, which includes 'Journey's End' was met with rapturous applause at it's world premiere at Wigmore Hall in London last September. It can also be heard on Farrell's latest CD, 'PERFECT STATE' which was recently released on the RTÉ lyric fm label. Dates/venues are as follows:
